PSY Reveals His Genuine Reaction To Finding Out He Was Collaborating With BTS’s Suga

         When it was first revealed that the title track "That That" for PSY's upcoming album will not only be produced by BTS' Suga, but will also feature it, ARMYs couldn't hide their excitement. When the pictures of the two idols were released, it seemed li⁷ke a collaboration made from heaven. 

          As soon as the video was released, the chemistry between PSY and Suga was undeniable.

         Though the combination might seem strange at first, the music video proved was as epic as fans thought it was.
Although PSY is the lead artist, it seems like the idol couldn't stop getting excited about collaborating with Suga from the moment the announcement was made.


         In a video posted before the song, PSY explained that the song seems almost destined to be successful because it means "It's done in a jiffy." 
         Suga and PSY also revealed that the writing process was easy due to their close friendship.
       Well, it seems that the release of the song and recent interviews with PSY have shown how much working with Suga meant to him.

          During the performance celebrating the release of PSY's latest album, the veteran idol opened up about how the collaboration with Suga really came about, and it's all because of the BTS member. According to PSY, Suga approached him and explained that he had the perfect lead. Notably, during another interview with Melon, PSY revealed his reaction when all were confirmed with Suga. 
"I was so excited after Suga’s collaboration was confirmed that I couldn’t sleep for a couple of days. I felt like I had saved a country in my past life."

        It shows not only how much PSY appreciates all the idols, but also Suga's influence and how much people want to work with him.As if that wasn't enough, despite being a veteran idol, PSY explained that while working with Suga, he saw parts of himself when he was younger. With that, he could also use that to feel the same feeling of lightheartedness.

"Watching Suga, I realized I also used to be like that, really passionate and just having fun, bold without hesitation. I was able to rid myself of the worries I’ve gained from my long career."
