the company took full responsibility.
Fans were left perplexed when it had been reportable that BTS JIMIN 's luxury apartment had nearly been seized because of him allegedly not paying health insurance premiums
It was later clarified that this was due to a mistake by their management company.According to BizHankook, he had failed to pay his health insurance premiums and his home was nearly confiscated on January 25, 2022.Nine One Hannam is one of the most expensive apartments in South Korea , valued at approximately KRW 5.90 billion (approx. USD 4.74 million).
Since then, the health premiums owed have been settled and paid. However, as the news spread, their management company, HYBE Labels, responded with an official statement to Korean media outlet Newsen on April 24, 2022.
"Regarding the case, the company receives all mails sent to the artists’ dorms. In the process of passing them to the artist, a portion of the mail was delayed due to a mistake. Jimin has been carrying out his schedules overseas and had a long-term break since the end of last year and continued with overseas schedules after, so he was unaware of the fact [that his premium had been] overdue. After he found out, he immediately paid the arrears in full and the case has been closed.
We apologize for having worried the fans and the artist due to our company’s error."— HYBE Labels
Jimin was unaware of the cousin due to his busy schedule abroad. Monitored your mail but could not send you the correct letter due to an oversight. With the apology and the update, the matter has been settled.
Meanwhile, BTS just ended a successful leg of his PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE tour in Las Vegas and has returned to South Korea.
