BTS' MEMBERS JUNGKOOK AND J-HOPE TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19.

 BTS' Jungkook and J-hope tests positive for Covid19 after arriving in the US, days before the Las Vegas concert and the Grammys: Big Hit Music.


BTS: Jungkook tested positive for Covid19 after arriving in the US in Las Vegas, shared the group's agency, Big Hit Music, ARMY with on Tuesday. On the Weverse fan community forum, Big Hit Music said Jungkook tested negative for Covid19 in South Korea but was tested in the US. The youngest member of BTS was diagnosed with coronavirus on Monday. 


The agency said that Jungkook's participation in the "subsequent program in the United States will be governed by local regulations regarding Covid19." He added that the agency is "in talks with the awards organizer," alluding to the Grammys. The explanation was: "Hello. This is big hit music.We would like to update you on BTS member Jung Kook's Covid19 diagnosis.


 Jung Kook tested negative on a PCR test in Korea and departed for the United States on Sunday, March 27 (KST) to prepare to perform at the Grammy Awards. Upon arrival in Las Vegas, he experienced a slight discomfort in his throat and immediately underwent a rapid PCR test (Covid19 Molecular PCR Test) and a standard PCR test (Covid19 Quantitative PCR Test) on Sunday afternoon, March 27th. (PT).

“During self-quarantine as a proactive measure, both tests came back positive and Jung Kook was confirmed with Covid19 on Monday March 28 (PT). 

Jung Kook is currently in self-quarantine and treating according to guidelines from public health authorities in He has no symptoms other than a mild sore throat and we will closely monitor his health during quarantine," he added. 

Jung Kook's participation in the later program in the United States will be determined by local regulations regarding Covid19. We are in active discussions with the organizer of the Awards and would like to sincerely apologize to our fans for, despite our best efforts, we are providing them with all necessary to take measures for the health of our artists before and during the show. J-Hope is currently under quarantine in Seoul, South Korea.BTS is scheduled to perform in four concerts, Permission to Dance On Stage, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.They will hold live shows on April 8, April 9, April 15, and April 16.BTS will also perform at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas for the Grammys.The group has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their track Butter
